Pliezhausen, 25 July 2024. DATAGROUP has been a reliable IT service provider of Messe München since 2019. With a new contract, DATAGROUP is deepening this successful cooperation and significantly expanding the services provided for Messe München, especially in the area of cyber security. The contract has a term of five years. The contract volume is in the double-digit millions.
As part of the new agreement, DATAGROUP will supply comprehensive security solutions for Messe München in addition to the services provided so far. This includes services such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) as well as Managed Detection and Response (MDR), complemented by 24 hours on-call services. These services will be provided to Messe München from one source – by DATAGROUP – and complement the existing portfolio which comprises Vulnerability Management Systems (VMS) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) amongst others. The future combination of these services at DATAGROUP provides holistic protection, including a proactive detection of threats and fast response measures.
Furthermore, the future partnership includes the implementation of CORBOX into the existing data centers directly on site, which will then offer the same high-quality performance as the data center of DATAGROUP in Frankfurt.

Since 2019, DATAGROUP has managed most of the IT services of Messe München on the basis of the CORBOX service portfolio. The service portfolio to date covered the delivery and operations of the entire server infrastructure, the application management of the sophisticated IT environment and the complete end user service. Altogether, some 650 employees have been supported.

On 13 August 2024, DATAGROUP will publish third-quarter results and the first nine-month results for 2023/2024. On the same day, it will host two online conferences with Andreas Baresel, CEO/CFO.
