40 Years of DATAGROUP – Growing Together!

On 1 October 2023, DATAGROUP has heralded the year of its 40th anniversary – a reason to celebrate and a reason to contribute back to society. On this occasion, we have also launched a special campaign for the anniversary year: In cooperation with ForstBW, DATAGROUP contributes to create DATAGROUP FOREST on an area of disused woodland in the Black Forest.

For this campaign – as well as in its IT Services core business – DATAGROUP has relied on the outstanding commitment of its employees and the support from customers, business partners, investors and other persons associated with the company: They have all collected points for their commitment and “good deeds” during the anniversary year.

We’ve made it: 40 years of DATAGROUP, 40,000 points, 4,000 trees!

We have achieved our goal to score 40,000 points = 4,000 trees already on 21 June 2024, 3 months before the initial target date. But there is more to it than that, we have continued diligently on our crusade and scored a total of 56,752 points = 5,675 trees for the DATAGROUP FOREST.

We are extremely proud of the wide-ranging involvement and the activities, whether social, sporting, ecological, cultural or health-related, which added to the points made for the DATAGROUP FOREST. In the end, we have collectively contributed to create a forest of the future – climate-stable and innovative.

We’ve made IT!

In a joint effort by all participants, we have hit the target. But this is not the end yet: We will carry on! Each commitment, whether social, sportive, ecological, cultural or health-related, will be rewarded with points for the DATAGROUP FOREST. This will allow for an even greater and more varied forest of the future – climate-proof and innovative.
